Represented Singapore on Mission for Beauties television program produced by China GuangXi Television .It was an original program to present the multinational culture and modern style of chosen beauty pageants (Golden Flower) which possessed excellent artistic and performance skills. Each representative must have the typical character of her nationality throughout the program. Representatives from ten ASIAN countries gathered in Vietnam to exchange friend ship and cultural skills. This event was co-hosted by Ho Chi Minh Television Station.

She was Invited to perform in Guy Manoukian Live Concert as a special guest at the Esplanade on 14th April, 2009. She has shown the unique skill to combine beautiful art of bellydance with piano performance.

Lunar New Year Celebration Dinner on 6th of February 2009 hosted by Minister Mentor Lee KuanYew.

Over the years, she has been invited to perform in many events and big stage shows. Audiences includes MM Lee KuanYew and President Nathan.

Jamila began Belly Dancing in 2005 under local teachers as well as International Masters. These teachers include Mr and Mrs Hossam & Serena Ramzy, Madam Raqia Hassan,Dr Mo Geddawi, Prof.Hassa Khalil & Nuriyya, Azzia, Sandra, Kaeshi, Tito,Magdy,Dina,Doaa and many more.

Using her versatile talent, Jamila often blends the traditional and modern styles of belly-dance into lively choreographies of visual beauty. Her forte has been Middle Eastern Classical dance form with props that include Drums with zills, double veils, fan veil,poi-veil,wing of isis and cane.

In a short span of 5 years, Jamila has made a name for herself in the belly-dancing industry. She won the inaugural Global-Asia belly- dance Competition 2006 as a soloist. In 2009, she was the winning belly-dance troupe in Singapore. Over the years, she was invited to perform in many events such as the Singapore Street festival, F1 race shows, Concert at the Esplanade and many charity shows. Her audiences include President S.R Nathan and MM Lee Kuan.

May 2009, she represented Singapore to appear on HCM TV station for the Golden Flower Beauty Pagent.

October 2009, she was invited as guest performer by Guangxi Satellite Television Station. She was also invited by the Guangxi Institute of Art to give Seminar on the Art of Belly-dancing.

January 2010, she taught bellydance for 16 episodes on Channel 8’s popular television program “Good Morning Singapore”. The programs received very high television ratings.
